General Scope of Work: Furnish all labor, equipment, materials, and incidentals to provide water and wastewater services to temporary residences located at Balmorhea State Park, including the design of a pre-packaged lift station, new water main, force main, water and sewer service lines and sewer collection line in accordance with the Invitation for Bids and Contract Documents. The Engineer's Probable Opinion of Cost ranges from $250,000 to $300,000. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. Although the pre-bid conference is not mandatory, Bidders are strongly encouraged to attend as important information regarding bid submittal requirements and an overview of the Project will be discussed. Project Schedule: All work shall be completed within one hundred fifty (150) calendar days commencing on the date specified in the Notice to Proceed. This performance period includes completing the various aspects required to complete the Work, including submission of all Submittals, mobilization, procurement, installation, testing, inspection, and delivery of documents described in the Uniform General Conditions All bids must be submitted on the forms furnished for that purpose, and each proposal must be accompanied by bid bond, or certified check made payable to the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department, in an amount of not less than (5) percent of the total bid amount. A photocopy of the bid bond or certified check may be uploaded through the Bid Portal; however, the physical copy must be received by TPWD at its headquarters location by 12:00 pm (noon) of the second business day following the bid submittal deadline. TPWD reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive minor irregularities in the bidding process.
