As its best interests may appear, Owner reserves the right to disregard all non-conforming, non-responsive, conditional or alternate Bids(s); to reject any or all Bids(s); to waive informalities, technicality or irregularity in any Bid(s); to require statements or evidence of Bidder's qualifications such as financial data, previous experience, and authority to conduct business in the jurisdiction where the Work is located; and to accept the Bid that is in the opinion of the Owner in its best interest. Owner reserves the right to extend the Bidding period by Addendum. Basis of award will be the lowest responsive and responsible bid as determined by Owner. The Owner is a governmental entity and is exempt from Colorado sales and use tax. A general statement of the requested equipment is as follows: Precision Pumping Systems Model #T##C2T050E00900-120S86B483INS-8, including a self-cleaning lake screen that will connect to an existing 12" wet-wall intake pipe, providing 900 GPM at discharge pressure of 125 PSI OR an equivalent system from a different manufacturer.
