Renovation of a detention facility in Wautoma, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 36,000-square-foot detention facility.

Waushara County will be accepting bids for the re-roofing of the Waushara County Law Enforcement Center (Sheriff's Department and Jail.). The re-roof section is approximately 36,000 square feet. Work will consist of removal of existing roof, ballast and insulation and replacing it with 60mil TPO membrane (or equivalent), new insulation and gutters. The existing metal roof will not be part of this project. Waushara County reserves the right to accept and/or reject any or all bid proposals and to waive any and all informalities and/or irregularities in bid proposals submitted. This right shall be exercised at the sole discretion of Waushara County. Waushara County will make award as may appear to be in the best interest of the County Flat Roof Systems: Vacuum removal of existing ballast stone. Remove existing rubber roof and old EPS insulation. All materials are to be removed and disposed of by contractor. Old rubber roof membrane and insulation to be recycled, rubber and insulation will not be disposed ofin the landfill. Wood nailers are required at all roof perimeter edges where metal edging and gutter systems specified. Nailers shall be firmly anchored to the decks at a maximum 2'-0" OC and shall resist a pullout force of 200 Ibs./linear foot in any direction. Height of nailers shall match the surface level ofthe insulation and roofmembrane Fully adhere 2 layers of 1.5" Poly iso insulation staggering seams Fully adhere 60 mil TPO membrane Install prefabricated boots and corners All roofseams to be field probed and welded with minimum 1" weld South side tie-in to metal standing seam roof and extension of valley with termination detail must be covered by warranty Install new edge metal where needed in areas where gutters are not needed 20-year labor and material systems warranty Install commercial gutters 24-gauge Kynar finish metal on east and west sides to match existing colors as close as possible. All seams to be heat welded and inspected by certified inspector upon completion of project
