SCOPE OF WORK: This project will consist of an expansion of the existing fleet facility located at the public works corporate yard. The expansion will match the existing fleet building and will add approximately 2,111 additional square feet which will be used for tire and welding operations. The project will also include the demolition of the existing tire shop located near the fleet facility. Due to funding source, this project is bound by Federal and State regulations. By submitting a SOQ, the Firm is agreeing to adhere to all State and Federal Requirements. FINAL SELECTION will be made by the Carson City Public Works. If needed, the final contract will be awarded by the Board of Supervisors and is tentatively scheduled for February 15, 2024. Questions will only be received through 2:00pm on January 9, 2024. Response to Questions Posted January 9, 2024. Award Professional Services Contract January - February 2024 DBE/SBE Goal: This project has no established goal. The Overall Goal for the City s FTA Funded Projects is 1.43%. Please complete DBE Race Neutral Goal Form and if no DBE is provided for this project provide GFE letter. Carson City reserves the right to reject any or all SOQ and to award to the firm the City deems most qualified and whose award of the contract will accrue to the best interests of the City.
