Site work and new construction of a pre-engineered storage facility in Villa Hills, Kentucky. Completed plans call for the construction of a pre-engineered storage facility; and for site work for a pre-engineered storage facility.
Sealed Bids will be received by the City of Villa Hills for the Public Works Salt Storage Site Preparation Project. The scope of work includes improving the site conditions to the minimum standards needed to construct a new salt storage facility as outlined in the specifications. The project is located on the Villa Hills Public Works site at 719 Rogers Road in Villa Hills, Kentucky. Last Day for Questions shall be December 22nd, 2023 by 5 pm. EST. Last Addendum, if any, shall be issued on December 29, 2023 by 5 pm. EST. Contractors are encouraged to utilize local Vendors and Suppliers. The City of Villa Hills reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to waive any informalities or errors or to reject any or all bids for any reason. This contract is considered a Lump Sum Contract. The City reserves the right to negotiate with apparent successful bidder as necessary to meet the needs of the Owner. Small, local, minority and female-owned businesses are encouraged to participate. Each bidder must deposit with his Bid, security in the amount, form and subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders. No price escalation during the time of the Construction Contract shall be considered. EOE. The low bidder is Peterson Contracting INC with a bid of $75,000
