Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Silver Springs, New York. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

The Project Primarily Includes the Milling and Resurfacing of 4 Miles of Pavement on East Lake Road. In Addition to the Pavement Resurfacing, Work Will Include Replacement of Sidewalk Curb Ramps Not Meeting Current Ada Standards to the Extent Possible Under This Maintenance Project. Pavement Markings Will Also Be Restored. All Proposals Shall Be Submitted on the Forms Furnished Herein. Each Bid Shall Be Submitted in a Sealed Enveloped That is Clearly Labeled East Lake Road (Cr 2) Preventive Maintenance Project and Be Addressed to: Devin Blue, Highway Superintendent, Wyoming County Highway Department, 4328 State Route 19, Silver Springs Ny 14550. Questions During Bidding: No interpretation of the meaning of the plans, specifications or other contract documents will be made to any bidder orally. Every request for such interpretation shall be in writing via email, addressed to C&S Companies: Daniel T. Borcz, P.E., C&S Engineers, Inc. dborcz@cscos.com Neither the Owner Nor Engineer Will Be Responsible for Information Within Bid Documents, Including Addenda, if Any, Obtained from Sources Other Than the Designated Website. if You Do Not Have Internet Access or Have Questions on the Website, Please Contact Avalon Document Services at (716) 995-7777. Paper Copies of the Plans and Specifications Can Be Picked Up at Avalon at 40 La Riviere Drive, Suite 150, Buffalo, Ny 14202, Upon a Non-refundable Payment Made to Avalon. Payment Can Be Made by Credit Card or by a Check Made Payable to Avalon Document Services. Bid Documents May Be Examined at the Buffalo (141 Elm Street) and Rochester (100 South Clinton Ave, Suite 2700) Offices of C&s Engineers Inc. Between the Hours of 8:30am and 4:30pm Daily Except Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays. This Contract Will Be Funded Partially With Federal Funds, and as Such, is Subject to All Federal Rules and Regulations Pertinent Thereto, Including, but Not Limited to, Federal Policy of Encouraging the Participation of Minority and Women Business Enterprises as Sources of Suppliers, Equipment, Construction and Services. Prospective Bidders Are Advised That Wyoming County Encourages the Participation of Minority owned, Women-owned, Veteran-owned, and Service-disabled Veteran-owned Business Enterprises in Construction, Supplier, Equipment, and Other Related Products and Services. for All Further Requirements Regarding Bid Submissions, Qualifications, Procedures, and Contract Award, Refer to the Instructions to Bidders Included Within the Bid Documents. Proposals Shall Be Made and Received Upon the Following Conditions: Each Proposal Must Be Accompanied by the Deposit of a Certified Check, Payable to the Order of the Wyoming County Highway Department, for a Sum Equal to Five Per Centum (5%) of the Total Amount of the Bid, or a Bid Bond With Sufficient Sureties in a Penal Sum Equal to Five Per Centum (5%) of Such Total Bid Amount, Conditioned That if the Proposal is Accepted, the Successful Bidder Will Enter Into a Contract for the Work, and That They Will Execute Within Fifteen (15) Days From the Date of the Acceptance of the Proposal, a Suitable Security Bond in the Amount of the Contract, Conditioned for the Faithful and Prompt Performance and Completion of the Work Specified in the Contract. No Bidder May Withdraw Their Bid Within (60) Calendar Days After the Actual Date of the Opening Thereof. Each Bidder's Attention is Called to the General Municipal Law, Which Requires a Bidder's Certificate of Non-collusion, Copies of Such Certificates Are Part of the Proposal Form and Unless Complied With, the Bid Will Not Be Accepted. Upon Acceptance of Their Bid, if the Successful Bidder Fails to Enter Into a Contract Pursuant to the Requirements of the Board, or Fails to Give Further Security Prescribed in This Notice, With the Time Limited Therein, Then the Check Deposited as Aforesaid and the Moneys Standing to the Credit of Same, Shall Be Forfeited to the County as Liquidated Damages, or the Payment of the Bond Enforced for the Benefit of the County. Wyoming County Reserves the Right to Waive Informalities in or to Reject Any and All Bids. Anticipated Contract Award: February 2024
