Work will consist of furnishing all labor, materials, disposal, equipment, and warranties to complete the underground Storm Drain, Gas and Water utilities systems to make the site ready for installation of two metal shade structures, electrical systems, hardscape, landscape and site furnishings. Improvements will include excavation, removal of the existing water and gas lines, backfill, export of soil or debris, rework of as-built storm drain utilities, paving removal to access points of connection of underground utilities and import soil as necessary Pursuant to Public Contract Code 3300, Bidder must possess a current General Engineering "A" Contractors License at the time that the contract for the work is awarded. Each Bidder submitting a proposal to complete the work must be a current registered contractor with the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to Labor Code 1725.5("DIR Registered Contractor"). A Bidder who is not a DIR Registered Contractor when submitting a proposal for the work is deemed "not qualified" and the proposal of such a Bidder will be rejected for non-responsiveness. In accordance with Section 1770 of the CA Labor Code, the Contractorshall post a copy of the determination prevailing rates of wages at each job site. The Ventura County Community College District (Owner) reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or to waive any irregularities or informalities in any bid proposal or in the bidding.
