This is an invitation to submit a sealed RFP for the furnishing of supplies, equipment and/or services subject to the terms and conditions and special instruction of this RFP. Old Neck Road Infiltration Project Question Deadline: 12/28/2023 04:30 PM (ET) Old Neck Road is susceptible to flooding during extreme storm surges and acts as a conduit for stormwater runoff to enter Old Neck Creek via sheet flow. The road end abuts a sandy shoreline at the mouth of Old Neck Creek. A marina is located north of the road and residential properties to the south. The preliminary design for this road end includes removal of asphalt, installation of permeable substrate and planting of native vegetation. A copy of the preliminary plan is provided in the appendices of this RFP and may be used as a reference or refined to create a final engineered plan The selected consultant will be tasked with creating final engineered plans based on the preliminary design identified in the Plan and attached to this request for proposals. If, during developing final engineered plans, the selected consultant identifies additional structural issues inneed of mitigation, then those mitigation measures shall be included for consideration by the Highway Department.
