This is an invitation to submit a sealed bid for the furnishing of supplies, equipment and/or services subject to the terms and conditions and special instruction of this bid. All Questions Must Be Submitted in Writing by December 20, 2023 to PurchasingGroup@brookhavenny.gov The contract term shall be from date of award for a period of three (3) years. This contract may be renewed for two (2) additional one (1) year periods upon mutual agreement between the Town of Brookhaven and the awarded vendor and said renewed contract shall include the Town's latest terms and conditions. The Town is seeking a qualified Bidder to assist in the collection and recycling of e-waste from Town residents, businesses located within the Town or Town facilities in a safe and environmentally responsible way. The Town expects the Bidder to have experience and be qualified to haul; transport; collect; store, process sort, recycle, and dispose of ewaste. In addition, Bidder shall be licensed to operate as an approved e-waste recycler (see Qualified Bidder). With the recent changes to the Title 6 of the New York Codes, Rules and Regulations (NYCRR), Part 368, the Town shall not incur any costs associated with covered electronic device recycling and hopes to receive some level of revenue from this recycling program.
