McHenry Riverwalk Phase 4. Description of Work: This Project Shall Consist of a Base Bid Complete and a Seawall Only Bid. The Work Shall Consist of All Labor and Material Necessary for Construction of Mchenry Riverwalk Phase 4 as Indicated in This Bid Package and on the Plans Prepared by Hr Green, Inc. The Plans Prepared by Hr Green, Inc. Shall Be Used As a Reference Document Throughout the Bidding and Construction of the Project. This Project Will Consist of Approx. 350 Lin Ft of Steel Seawall, 1368 Sf of Brick Paver Walkway, 774 Lin Ft of Concrete Sidewalk and 341 Lin Ft of an Overwater Boardwalk. This Project May Award on the Basis of Lowest Bid for Either Bid. All proposals shall be accompanied by a Cashier's Certified Check or Bid Bond Upon a National or State Bank or Surety Company in the Amount 10% of the Total Amount for the Base Bid Payable to the City of Mchenry, as a Guarantee That the Bidder Will Enter Into a Contract. The Successful Bidder Must Furnish Both a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond Upon Approved Standard Form in the Amount of 110% of the Contract Price From an Approved Surety Company Licensed by the State of Illinois, or Acceptable, According to the Latest List of Companies Holding Certificates of Authority From the Secretary of the Treasury of the United States, or Other Surety or Sureties Acceptable to the Owner. The Right is Reserved, as the Interest of the Owner May Require, to Reject Any and or All Bids, And to Waive Any Informality in Bids Received.
