Site work and new construction of a warehouse / distribution facility in Atkinson, Illinois. Completed plans call for the construction of a warehouse / distribution facility; and for site work for a warehouse / distribution facility.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The Rock Island County Salt Storage Yard will consist of two new building structures, a salt storage building and a cold storage building. The salt storage building will be a 2,500 ton, 72' diameter pre-manufactured wood dome. The salt storage dome concrete base and foundation will require geo- piers or equivalent to prevent settlement. The new cold storage building will be a 35' by 20' wood pole building with an overhead door 12' x 14' and one man-door. An 8" reinforced concrete floor slab will be provided inside the building structure. The Atkinson Satellite Storage Yard, located in Henry County, will consist of two new building structures, a salt storage building and a cold storage building. The salt storage storage b building will be a 2,900 ton, 84' diameter pre-manufactured wood dome. The salt storage dome concrete base and foundation will require geo-piers equivalent to prevent settlement. The new cold storage building will be a 35' by 20' pole building with an or overhead door 12' x 14' and one man-door. An 8" reinforced concrete floor slab will be provided inside the building structure.
