Services will include preparation of necessary plans, specifications, estimates and conducting necessary utility coordination for this project . In general: Participate in coordination meetings with City staff, Caltrans, impacted utility companies, and stakeholders as needed. Prepare and maintain design delivery schedule in order to submit construction PS&E package to Caltrans by February 2025 for RFA construction funding approval. Coordinate design with current and proposed projects in the vicinity. Prepare and maintain design schedule. Conduct site investigations as needed to produce accurate design documents. Prepare and maintain design scope, budget, quality, and provide a monthly project status report. Prepare utility notification letters and/or applicable documents to utilities and agencies as needed to begin utility relocations and/or Civil work. Take the lead on utility relocations including preparing and submitting necessary documents to different agencies. Preparation of Utility Communication Log to be completed and updated with every submittal, or upon request of City Project Management Team. Process City provided topographic survey information. Identify if additional topographic survey requirements are needed for the City Survey team to perform survey. Prepare and provide pothole exhibit based on utility research and engineers' recommendation showing potential utility conflicts. Provide geotechnical testing and report as required. Provide evaluation of current pavement conditions, recommendation of pavement treatment based on geotechnical study (i.e., full-section reconstruction, grind and overlay, Full-Depth Reclamation (FDR), and innovative pavement methods).
