Estimate: $135,000.00 Each bid proposal must be accompanied by a Cashier's Check, Certified Check or a Bid Bond from a reliable surety company drawn to the order of KLEIN PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid. No bid proposal may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the bid opening date. The OWNER reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or to accept the bid deemed most advantageous to it. The successful bidder will be required to provide a performance, payment, and maintenance bond for the full amount of the contract. Question Deadline 01/07/2024 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Contract Documents shall be submitted to ENGINEER. Questions received less than 72 hours prior to the date for opening of Bids will not be answered. Only questions answered by formal written Addenda will be binding. Oral and other interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect. OWNER reserves the right to reject any and all Bids and waive any and all informalities or irregularities, and the right to disregard all nonconforming or conditional Bids or counter proposals.
