Saving Project...

Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Lubbock, Texas. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and road / highway.

Rehabilitation of existing paved and unpaved streets. This work will require removal of existing pavement and failed base material to be replaced with new asphalt surface. Included with this project will be new handicap ramps to meet current ADA requirements. The project is included in the City's 2023-2024 Capital Improvement Program. As of December 19, 2023, A tentative bid schedule for contractors is scheduled May - June 2024 with construction slated to begin July - September 2024. The firm timelines have not been released. Further details regarding design firm and general contractor selection timelines have not been disclosed. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP).
