Site work for a water / sewer project in Decatur, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The proposed project herein specified and described includes the following work: A three (3) year project to apply foaming root control herbicide to approximately 325,140 lineal feet of sanitary sewers ranging in size from 6 inches to 21 inches. The project will apply root control in approximately 107,400 lineal feet of sewers in year 1 (zone 2), approximately 129,800 lineal feet of sewers in year 2 (zone 3) and approximately 87,900 lineal feet in year 3 (zone 1). All Proposals Must Be Accompanied by a Bank Draft, Cashier's Check, or Certified Check Made Payable to Treasurer, Decatur, Illinois, in the Amount Often Percent (10%) Of the Bid or Bid Bond in the Same Amount. Ten (10) Percent (%) of the total dollar amount of the contract should be for the purchase of goods, material and equipment to Minority Business Enterprises. The Council of the City of Decatur, Illinois, reserves the right to accept, renegotiate or reject any or all proposals and to waive any variance from the requirements ofthe instructions for bidders.
