Carroll County, Georgia is seeking bids from qualified contractors to upgrade the Security System of the Carroll County Court House located at 311 Newnan Street, Carrollton, Georgia. Carroll County, Georgia is a rapidly growing community located in west Georgia, southwest of the City of Atlanta. The City of Carrollton serves as the county seat. The County has an area of 503 square miles, with a population of 119,000 according to the 2020 Census. The governing authority of the County consists of six (6) district Commissioners and a full-time Chairman, elected county-wide, who manages the administration and day to day operations of the County. Carroll County employs approximately 650 full-time employees, plus elected officials. The Scope of work will be the upgrade of the Security System in the Carroll County Court House per the attached plans and specifications. The Project will require installation, programming, testing, and documentation required for a fully functional access control and surveillance system, and intercom system. Contractor will be must provide a schedule and timeline for project completion, including closeout, which incorporated into the contract. Timeline for this project will be ninety (90) days from the of necessary equipment for this project. Bid Bond Amount of bond shall be 5% of contract amount. Carroll County form attached as . Failure to use Carroll County Bid Bond Form may result in bid being deemed non- responsive and automatic rejection may occur. 2 . Performance Bond in the form attached as Amount of bond shall be 100% of contract amount. 3. Payment, Labor and Materials Bonds in the form attached as - Amount of bond shall be 100% of contract amount. The building consists of four finished floors plus a fifth floor scheduled for buildout in association with this project but under another Bid Request. Each floor is approximately 26,000 square feet. Contractor must provide a schedule and timeline for project completion, including closeout, which will be incorporated into the contract. Timeline for this project will be ninety (90) days from the final delivery ofnecessary equipment for this project.
