HANO is seeking sealed bids from licensed General Contractors to complete removal and replacement of tubs and a shower at the Guste III housing community. The scope includes removing Eleven (11) Tubs and One (1) all-in-one shower tub surround, necessary drywall to remove tub and shower and all drywall behind the tub surround, add blocking for grab bars, treat rough lumber for microbial growth, replace tub valves, all necessary plumbing, and replace tub with a new Bootz Maui Porcelain-Enamel Steel Tub set in a mortar bed with cultured marble surrounds. Question Deadline 01/05/2024 at 12:00 PM CT The Housing Authority of New Orleans (HANO) is seeking sealed bids from licensed General Contractors to complete removal and replacement of eleven (11) tubs and one (1) shower at the Guste III housing community. HANO strongly encourages minority-owned and women-owned businesses, socially and economically disadvantaged businesses and small businesses to respond to this IFB, or to participate in subcontracting opportunities pursuant to this Invitation for Bids. HANO reserves the right to reject any or all offers for just cause and waive any formalities in the submission process if it is in the best interest of the public to do so.
