Height 526 LF Clearing and Grubbing 0.38 ACRE Excavation, Class 10, Roadway and Borrow 82 CY Safety Closure 2 EA Bridge Approach Pavement 48.1 SY Macadam Stone Base 100 TON Removal of Recreational Trail 100 SY Recreational Trail, Portland Cement Concrete, 6in. 55.6 SY Removal and Replacement of Fence, Field 236 LF Traffic Control 1 LS Perimeter and Slope Sediment Control Device 200 LF The said improvements shall include other minor, miscellaneous subsidiary and incidental work Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid bond, certified check, cashier's check or a Certified Share Draft in a separate sealed envelope in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total amount bid The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a corporate surety bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price, said Bond to be issued by a responsible surety approved by the City and authorized to do business in the State of Iowa, and shall guarantee the faithful performance of the contract and the terms and conditions therein contained and the maintenance of said improvements in good repair for not less Two (2) year from the time of acceptance of the improvements by the City. The successful bidder shall also be required to provide Payment Bond as provided in the Specifications The work under the proposed contract shall be commenced within fifteen (15) days after issuance of the "Notice to Proceed" and shall be completed within 60 working days with a late start date of June 10, 2024 The City will receive and consider bids on the project. Award of contract will be made to the lowest responsive, responsible, qualified bidder. Names of subcontractors shall be listed and submitted with the proposal.
