Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in San Diego, California. Working plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
**As of July 24, 2024 project is cancelled.** This project is comprised of several water facilities identified by the Public Utilities Department as having a very high priority for replacement due to excessive maintenance and/or are near the end of their life cycle. The linear footage of water pipes in this project is approximately 11,400 linear feet (LF) of 8-inch and 12-inch water mains to replace existing asbestos cement (AC) water mains. Construction will also include fire hydrants, water appurtenances, bike lanes, street resurfacing and approximately 25 curb ramps and traffic control. This work includes furnishing all design, labor, materials, equipment, services, and other incidental design, works and appurtenances for the construction of the Project as described in the bridging documents. Estimated Bid Value $12,900,000. Contract time- 666 Working Days 1. SLBE participation 8.4% 2. ELBE participation 13.9% 3. Total mandatory participation 22.3% Limited Notice to Proceed: SEPTEMBER 2024
