Additional Pre bid meeting Note: Bidders shall come prepared with questions concerning needed clarifications and shall only send their project manager, superintendent, or other construction professional intended to work on the project to attend this meeting. For further information, contact the University's Representative, Bethany French, Project Manager, at (858) 665-1065. Description of Work: Project will renovate and convert space currently used as storage, B2044A-G into a combination laser and wet lab. Project will require strict environmental controls in roughly half of the space, including humidity control of less than 45% and temperature control of 70F +/-1.7F. The remaining space, B0244C and B0244G, does not require critical environmental controls and will be used for support and office space. It is desired that the lab area be maximized as budget allows. Other lab requirements include, but are not limited to dry air and N2, chilled water facility, and 208V circuits. Vibration Controls are not anticipated due to project location. The path of travel and egress will need to be verified as compliant. Bathroom upgrades are not anticipated. There is known abatement needed in space, and some adjacent spaces, B0242, may be included in abatement but no new design is expected for that area.
