The City of Binghamton is requesting proposals for the repair of various pumps used in the Water and Sewer Departments. We range from 5hp - 500hp and include a multitude of pump manufacturers, including Flygt, Peerless, Wilo, Fairbanks, KSB, Ebara, Deming, Flowserve and others. The work will be billed on a Time and Material basis. The successful bidder must be capable of: Troubleshooting the entire pump system including but not limited to the electric motor, mechanical components of the pump, hydraulics, piping, basic electrical and controls on any type of pump. Transporting any pump from the work site to your respective shops and back again. The ability to quote and consider repair replace options for each substantial repair. Performing removal and installation of any of our pumps; This includes but not limited to submersible, dry pit submersibles, end suction, split case and vertical turbine pumps. Vendor responsible for any disassembly required to get pump to your shop. Capable of having the motor sections sent out and repaired as required or the ability to repair motors in house. The ability to itemize all repair work being done. The ability to source new equipment as required.
