**As of March 18, 2024 this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. Plymouth-Canton Community Schools (P-CCS) was awarded state funding and is seeking bids, from qualified bidders, for the installation of security window film meeting the specifications outlined in this request. Proposals for all 28 buildings located within the district should be submitted by the bidder. Funding for this project is limited and P-CCS retains the right to adjust the number of windows or total square footage completed to ensure budgetary compliance. Project Goals: P-CCS is seeking to install security window film on all specified windows and doors as deemed necessary by the district's safety and security team through comprehensive building assessments. The installation may include any extra attachments or services to aid in the installation of the product and ensure the glass stays intact in the event it is broken. Installation shall include: ->> Installation in accordance with manufacturer specifications. ->> Installation with no gaps or overlaps. If seamed, the seams should not be overlapping. ->> Film should be custom cut to the glass with neat, square corners and edges to within Vs" inch of the window frame. ->> Installation should remove all bubbles, blisters, and other defects. After installation, the view of the film from 10 feet shall appear uniform in appearance with no visible streaks, wrinkles, banding, thin spots, or pinholes. ->> If the installed film does not meet the above criteria it shall be removed and reinstalled at the vendors expense. As mentioned, in the event that modifications or additions to the RFP become necessary P-CCS will post them to the district website. Proposal Format and Submission Requirements: Proposals shall be organized and submitted in the following format: Section 1 : Executive Summary. A two page maximum executive summary shall be submitted to briefly describe the vendor's proposal. This summary should highlight the major features of the proposal. It must also indicate any requirements that cannot be met by the vendor. Section 2: Vendor Information. Vendors must provide in-line responses to all vendor information requirements outlined in the RFP. Section 3: Response to RFP Requirements. Vendors must provide in-line responses to all technical specifications and requirements outlined within the RFP. Bid deviations from the technical requirements shall be explained in detail within the response. ->> Section 4: Pricing. Vendors must complete the pricing proposal attached to this RFP. Additional vendor quotes, hardware details, or other pricing materials may be included within this section. Pricing shall include products and installation, as well as any additional services or products needed to complete the proposal. ->> Section 5: Additional Information.
