Valley Water is seeking proposals from responsive, responsible and qualified firms ("Proposers" or "Proposer") to provide Land Surveying Services on an on-call or on an "as needed" basis. This Scope of Services is for a qualified Land Surveying firm to provide general and specialized surveying services in the areas of: preliminary and design level surveys, cadastral surveys, monitoring surveys, and construction support services on an as needed basis in order to assist the District in accomplishing its tasks in a timely manner. Requests for the services of qualified staff from the Consultant's team may come at any time and may include a need for more than one type of survey and possibly more than one of each type. The objective of work is to supplement the LSMU efforts by performing survey work in accordance with LSMU's policies, procedures, standards, and best management practices (See Attachment Four - Survey Field and Office Procedures). This includes performing work summarized in accordance with all pertinent local, state and federal laws while implementing LSMU nomenclature, standardized forms, software requirements, and documented procedures. The objectives of each category of Land Survey and Mapping services include but are not limited to: 1) Preliminary and Design Level Surveying: Topographic field surveys, expansion of project control, prepare photogrammetric base maps, LiDAR surveys, bathymetric surveys, 3D scanning, establish control networks for design, perform design level data surveys, and determine pothole locations. 2) Cadastral Surveys: Perform cadastral recovery and field ties, provide Right of Way services, monument the Right of Way, and prepare Record of Survey. 3) Construction Surveying: Provide construction surveying and support for District construction projects. 4) Monitoring Surveys: Perform monitoring surveys of District facilities in accordance with Land Survey and Mapping Unit's policies and procedures. 5) Supplemental Staffing: Provide competently trained and prepared field staff to assist on an as-needed basis to work with District Field Survey in the field or the office on an as needed basis.
