The City of Fredericksburg is seeking professional and technical assistance to provide dry weather screening of City stormwater outfalls for compliance in accordance with the requirements of the Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4) permit (General Permit No. VAR040058) Questions / Clarifications Due January 18, 2024 at 2PM A concluding report will be prepared no later than May 31, 2024 containing a summary of the field screening results and a list of the MS4 outfalls identified as having suspect discharges requiring follow-up investigation. A final report will be provided no later than May 31, 2024 in PDF format and include a summary of the overall findings with copies of the individual outfall inspection forms and photographs. If any prospective vendor has questions about the specifications or other solicitation documents, then it is the vendors responsibility to contact the Procurement Officer in writing, no later than January 18, 2024. Oral requests for information will not be accepted. No further written inquiries will be accepted after 2:00 P.M. local time on January 18, 2024. The City may cancel this Request for Quote or reject quotes at any time prior to an award, and is not required to furnish a statement of the reasons why a particular quote was not deemed to be the most advantageous (Code of Virginia, 2.2-4359D). The award document will be a contract incorporating by reference all the requirements, terms and conditions of the solicitation and the contractors quote as negotiated. Any revisions to the solicitation will be made only by an addendum issued by the Procurement Officer. Any addenda, notifications, extensions, cancellations or changes will be posted on the City. It is the responsibility of the prospective vendor to obtain all current information from either the City or eVA.
