Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Salt Lake City, Utah. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
Salt Lake County on behalf of Public Works Engineering requests bids for Safety Improvements along 100 S 2700 E. Bidders are not required to be pre-qualified for this Project County assumes no obligation to disclose information discussed at the pre-bid conference to bidders who do not attend. Absent bidders assume all risk of failure to attend. Bids shall be on a unit price basis. The location of the work is: 10000 South between approximately 2650 East to 2700 East in Unincorporated Salt Lake County. The work to be performed consists of furnishing and installing the equipment, facilities, services and appurtenances thereto as included in the Contract Documents. Items of work are as follows: Construct curb, gutter and sidewalk on the north side of 10000 South, pave the entire width and grade a drainage swale on the south side of 10000 South. Grade and reconstruct driveways and restore landscaping in grade tie-in areas. The Work will be Substantially Completed within calendar days after the date of the 90 Notice to Proceed. Construction of approximately 2733 sf of new sidewalk, 655 lf of concrete curb and gutter, surveying, clearing and grubbing, sawcut and removal of existing asphalt, traffic control, asphalt paving, landscape restoration, coordination with residents and other ancillary work necessary to complete project. Bonding Range $100,000 to $500,000. A. Bid Bond in the amount of at least 5 percent of the Bid must accompany each Bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Bid Bond will be returned to each unsuccessful Bidder after tabulation and award of the Construction Contract. All costs associated with the preparation of the bid, as well as any other related materials, will be borne by the bidder. All bids become the property of Salt Lake County. Salt Lake County reserves the right to stop the selection process at any time if it is considered to be in the best interest of the County. The County reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informality or technicality in any bid if deemed by the County to be in the publics best interest. In consideration for the opportunity to submit a bid for the project described herein, bidder agrees to hold its bid open and firm for days after the day bidding 45 closes, whether or not bidder is identified as the apparent low bidder at said closing. Bidders who withdraw their bid after close of bidding, but before expiration of the period specified above, shall forfeit their bid bond if award of a contract, based upon the bid, is subsequently made to them.
