Storm Sewer Improvements K-18 near Spring Valley Road and South Spring Valley Road, Junction City, Kansas The OWNER reserves the right to reject any and all bids, and to waive any formalities in any bid. The work covered by this section includes furnishing all plant, labor, equipment, materials, and transportation necessary for demolition and disposal of bituminous and concrete pavements, sidewalks, driveways, curb and gutter, sanitary sewer, water, gas pipe and other items as directed and as indicated on the plans. Trench excavation and backfill shall consist of all trench excavation, backfill, compaction and grading required for installation of pipe in whatever types of materials that may be encountered. This item shall also include necessary clearing; preparation of right-of-way; removal and disposal of debris; all necessary sheeting, shoring and protection work; preparation of subgrades; pumping and de-watering as necessary or required; removal of excess excavation from the site; and final grading and clean-up of work areas except where covered under other parts of these specifications.
