For any questions relating to the specifications or the submission of this response, contact Susan Lamendola, CPPB, NIGP-CPP, Procurement Project Manager, Local & Federal Contracts via email: susan.lamendola@mctx.org or by calling 936.788.8384 The County is seeking to contract with a competent and qualified engineering firm (Service Provider) which is registered to practice in the State of Texas and has a demonstrated history of experience and excellence in the following areas: o Develop new FMA grant applications o Hydrologic & Hydraulic (H&H) Analysis and Design o Complete FEMA benefit cost analysis for proposed alternatives o Geographic Information System Mapping o Drainage Master Planning o Environmental Investigations o Preparation of NEPA-compliant environmental assessments and environmental impact statements o Engaging the public for input, ideas, and information / community outreach o Post-award Grant Administration (follow all FMA policies, rules, and regulations) An H&H study is required to assess the impact of the localized flood risk reduction activities benefitting the area. Geospatial data must be provided to demonstrate that the proposed project activities benefit NFIP-insured properties. A master drainage plan shall be developed that identifies a minimum of 15 flood damage reduction projects that meet FMA program requirements for grant funding.
