The following is a summary of the required Consultant tasks - Provide design and construction administration services to upgrade and convert the current building HVAC systems to ground source heat pumps systems with the specific methodology as highlighted in yellow on page 6 of the attached Scoping Study (ECM-1, ECM-2C, ECM-3, ECM-4, ECM-5) . The existing heating plant consist of 2 steam boilers, serving classroom unit ventilators, finned tube radiation, unit heaters, duct mounted heating coils, and fan coil units. There are heating/cooling RTUs, and external ground level cooling units. A detailed description of the systems age, type, location and model numbers can be found in the attached 2023 HVAC Systems Scoping Study Report, conducted by Mass Save/Applied Energy Engineering & Commissioning. Questions regarding this RFQ shall be submitted in writing to the Hadley Public Schools Director of Finance and Operations by the close of business on January 16, 2024. Hadley Public Schools is requesting qualifications for Design and Construction Administration Services to upgrade and convert Hopkins Academy's existing HVAC system to a Deep Energy Ground Source Heat Pump System. The time received will be stamped on each proposal. For a consistency of time, the wall clock in the Central Office will be the determining time.
