Upgrades to University of Toronto Buildings.
TIMELINE:
The University of Toronto has issued a Request For Supplier Qualifications seeking to shortlist up to ten professional practices, to join three separate Vendor of Record (VOR) lists (up to 10 max./list) for professional services related to design and construction projects. This RFSQ represents the first part of a two-stage process; those practices selected to join the VOR program will be invited to bid on projects via response to subsequent Request for Proposals as the needs arise. Respondents shall upload their Proposal submission to MERX as directed in this posting and further outlined in the RFSQ document. A qualitative based evaluation criteria will be used to evaluate submissions and establish the shortlist for the VOR Program. The evaluation criteria are described in detail in the RFSQ document. Term: 2024/03/01 12:00:00 AM EST - 2027/03/01 12:00:00 AM EST The Vendor of Record Program will prequalify professional practices to provide professional services for future design and construction projects. Typical project types that will require professional services include, but are not limited to the following:
Feasibility Studies
Change of use
Accessibility upgrades
New teaching/learning spaces
Renovating specialized spaces such as labs or creating new labs (change of use)
Preparation of existing lease spaces to receive new tenants (white box) The VOR Program will be established for a three-year term and will not be open to new Proponents during this term. The University reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to expand the list by issuing a RFSQ if required to address a volume of work need or if spaces on the VOR list become available. Practices on the VOR list are not guaranteed work through this program (see Section B.27) and the volume of potential work is unknown. The University reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to solicit professional services outside of the VOR program and issue invited or open competitive RFSQ or RFP processes for projects.
