Informal bids will be received by the City of Hendersonville for the furnishing of materials, labor, equipment, and other necessary items for the demolition and removal of an elevated water tower and three system boosting pump stations located in Etowah, NC. All bids should include the following: a. Name of Contractor b. Address of Contractor c. E-mail address d. Telephone number e. Price to complete the work as described in the scope f. Proof of insurance that meets or exceeds the City's insurance requirements as described in the attached standard Demolition Agreement g. A copy of your NC General Contractor's License Bid will be awarded by January 15, 2024. Site will be available immediately to begin demolition. There will not be a public bid opening for this project. Each Bidder must be licensed under Chapter 87 of the North Carolina General Statute. Each Bidder must provide 3 references for completion of similar work within the past five years. The City reserves the right to waive any informality and to reject any and all proposals. If awarded, the bid will be awarded to the lowest, responsive, responsible bidder, The successful bidder will be required to enter into the City's standard Demolition Agreement, attached to this Invitation to Bid as Appendix B.
