Demolition, site work, renovation and addition to a fire / police facility in East Windsor, New Jersey. Conceptual plans call for the addition of a fire / police facility; for the demolition of a fire / police facility; for the renovation of a fire / police facility; and for site work for a fire / police facility.

As of July 22, 2024, information regarding the award and award date has not been disclosed. Although a firm timeline for construction has not been determined, construction is not expected to start prior to April of 2025. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: Services to be provided include preparation of construction documents for the renovation, alterations and additions at the Troop D Headquarters at Cranbury Station. The existing facility is approximately 26 years old and is in need of addressing long term maintenance items along with creating selective new additions to complement the extensive growth to the Troop D administrative and roadway staff. As a priority to the troopers, the building shall remain fully operational during the proposed construction work. The Consultant shall prepare all necessary reports and obtain Plan Review Approval from the NJ Department of Community Affairs, Division of Codes and Standards, and secure other permits as appropriate. In addition to permit plan information, there shall also be consideration in the documentation which incorporate investigations for asbestos containing materials (ACM), lead paint and any other such environmental items in the building. The Consultant shall participate in bi-weekly status meetings during design to ensure the timely transfer of information with the Authority. The Consultant shall have at least one staff member attend construction progress meetings, biweekly during construction. The Consultant shall support responses to contractor questions during the bidding phase, providing answers to the posted questions within three (3) business days of posting. During the construction phase, the Consultant shall respond to contractor's Requests for Information within five (5) business days of posting. Consultant shall assist the Construction Supervision Consultant in support of contract closeout, as necessary. As mentioned above the suggested Program equates to approximately 27, 815 square feet of space on 2 stories. The overall aesthetic of the exterior of the building shall remain as existing. The Authority reserves the right to, at any time and without notice, audit the Consultant or their Subconsultants. All agreements and/or contracts between the Consultant and their subconsultants shall include specific language that provides the Authority the ability to audit the subconsultant. The Authority reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals or to negotiate with any proposer, to waive minor noncompliance, amend or supplement the RFEOI, re-advertise the RFEOI, or abandon a procurement, and/or take such other steps deemed necessary and in the best interest of the Authority, in accordance with applicable law.
