Scope of Services to be Performed The required services to be provided are the installation of 2' barb arms and three (3) strands of smooth wire onto 3,590 feet of existing fence. a) Contractor shall remove the top rail off the existing fence and replace the loop caps with 2' long, 45-degree barb arms. The top rail shall be reinstalled, and the fence shall be retied. b) Contractor shall weld extensions to terminal posts to attach the new wire to. c) Contractor shall remove heavy brush along the fence line as needed and haul off cut brush for disposal. Contractor shall be responsible for any repairs of surfaces that may be damaged because of services being performed. Repairs shall match the existing surrounding surfaces and provide a seamless transition. Contractor shall repair any damage caused by the Contractor and its employees at no cost to the Facility. Contractor shall inspect existing conditions prior to commencing work, including elements subject to damage or movement during the service or repair. Work surfaces/workable areas shall be inspected by the Contractor prior to commencing work. All deficiencies found but not covered by this Contract shall be reported to the CCSSLC designated facility representative.
