This Request for Supplier Qualification (RFSQ) is being issued by the Design and Construction Management and Facilities Management Departments at the University of Toronto Scarborough, to establish a list of qualified general contractors in the following categories: - Interior Renovations - Exterior Renovations This Qualified Suppliers List is established for the purpose of qualifying prospective suppliers and establishing a qualified supplier system for the provision of General Contractor Services for interior and exterior construction at the University of Toronto Scarborough. The Qualified Supplier shall perform the Work required by the Contract Documents for the Project as identified in the Second Stage Agreement. For greater certainty, for the purposes of this Schedule "1", the Second Stage Agreement is the CCDC2 Stipulated Price Contract 2020, as modified by the University of Toronto Supplementary Conditions and any Project Specific Supplementary Conditions. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, the Qualified Supplier shall: a. provide all construction services required by the Contract Documents to fully execute and complete the Work; and b. provide all the supervision, labour, materials, construction machinery, personnel, equipment, tools, transportation and services to fully perform the Work, as required by the Contract Documents. The Work as identified in this Agreement shall not be interpreted as limiting the Qualified Supplier's duties, obligations and responsibilities pursuant to the Contract Documents identified in the Second Stage Agreement. Category Descriptions: Category descriptions, for general construction contractor services for projects with a value up to $10,000,000.00 are, but not limited to: Interior Renovation: This work is inclusive of all work, performed on any interior space including research laboratories, teaching laboratories, classrooms, study spaces, office space, meeting spaces, hallways, and washrooms, etc. Exterior Renovation: This work is inclusive of all work performed on the exterior of the building and surrounding area on campus, such as landscaping services, civil works, paving, street lighting, and landscape furniture etc. Official bid documents must be obtained from www.merx.com Question Acceptance Deadline: 2024/01/11 02:00:00 PM EST
