The City of Brownsville ("City') is requesting proposals from general construction firms interested in providing Job Order Contracting ("JOC") services for general construction work. By utilizing the JOC procurement system, the City expects a collaborative process of project procurement that combines the commitment, expertise and skills of the City and the Contractor to achieve the completion of the project in the best interest of the public. JOC shall provide an effective means of reducing total lead-time for public works projects. It is the intent of the City to award multiple Job Order Contracts to the Proposers offering the best value to the City in terms of technical qualifications and price. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
