Reference Number 0000347330 The New Shoreham School District is soliciting proposals from qualifed general contractors to provide renovations to the Block Island School. Question Deadline 04/12/2024 at 3:00 PM ET Questions must be sent to the office of the Architect, Saccoccio & Associates, 1085 Park Avenue, Cranston, Rhode Island 02910-3144 to the attention of: Michael van Hamel: e-mail is michael@sa-architects.com. Bid security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid must accompany each bid. Bid security shall be in the formof bid bond or a certified check payable to the Town of New Shoreham. Beneficiary of the bond shall be the Town of New Shoreham. A Performance Bond of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price and a Labor and Material Payment Bond of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price with a satisfactory surety company will be required of the successful bidder. Phase 1: Construction start to be June 17, 2024 Substantial completion date is August 21, 2024. Final Completion of all work is to be August 28, 2024. Phase 2: Construction start to be June 17, 2025 Substantial completion shall be by August 19, 2025. Final Completion shall be by August 26, 2025. *The Owner reserves the right to waive irregularities and to reject any or all bids, whole or in part, to waive any informalities or defects in any or all bids and to make awards deemed to be in the best interest of the Owner.
