The awarding of the Quote will be made after careful consideration of quotes received. Weslaco ISD reserves the right to accept, reject any and/or all Quotes, waive minor technicalities, or to award the Quote to the most responsible offeror which best serves the interest of, and provides the best value, to the District. Any quotes received late will be returned unopened. Weslaco ISD is not responsible for lost or misplaced quotes. It is the vendor's responsibility to confirm that their Quote has been received. Quote prices must be firm for acceptance for Ninety (90) days from Quote opening date. No Quotes may be withdrawn without written approval after a contract has been signed or partial performance of the Quote agreement has begun. All items that are bided on must be new and must meet the specifications listed in this Request for Competitive Quotes (RFCQ). Failure to manually sign Quote will disqualify it. This project consists of: 1) complete removal of the existing structure which includes the metal and the cement; 2) fabricating a structure for a scoreboard; 3) installing the structure. The structure design, material specifications and installation requirements are detailed in the engineer's drawings which have been attached as part of this quote request. Installation of the structure is also part of the scope of work. Per the engineer specifications the awarded vendor will install the metal structure in the designated area at Weslaco East High School. This project DOES NOT include the attachment of the scoreboard to the structure. Bidders on this project are only responsible for the fabricating and installation of the structure.
