Pace South Division Aboveground Storage Tank (AST) System Installation Written questions about this IFB shall be submitted to QuestionsAndAnswers@pacebus.com and will be accepted prior to 2:00 PM CST on December 27, 2023. Bid Guarantee - 5% (Exhibit C, Pg. 1) Pace is seeking a qualified, licensed contractor to perform the installation of the AST systems and the Veeder-Root TLS 450PLUS ATG Console at Pace South Division in compliance with requirements of the Illinois Office of the State Fire Marshall (OSFM) and Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Illinois EPA, as well as all applicable State and Local requirements. The Contractor must be licensed with OSFM. Location- South Division (OSFM ID 2013288) 2101 W. 163rd Place, Markham, IL 60426 The AST systems will be installed at two locations: the Used Oil AST system is to be located in Pump and Tank Room inside the building, and the Diesel/ Dispensing AST system is to be located outside the building to the northwest of the West Emergency Generator in the grass adjacent to concrete driveway. This work will include installing electrical power, control, tank gauge and leak sensor wiring for the AST systems. Upon completion of the installation activities, all disturbed lawn and landscaped areas will be restored to match preconstruction conditions with existing and/or new landscaping materials. The Veeder-Root TLS 450PLUS ATG console (450PLUS console) will be installed at the location of Veeder-Root TLS 350 ATG console (350 console), utilizing the current electrical feed and tank sensors. The scope of work covered by this section includes, but is not limited to the following activities at the South Division Garage: A. Obtain permits from the OSFM for AST installations. One (1) dispensing and non-dispensing permit are required. B. Submit approved OSFM permits to the City of Markham to obtain city permits. C. Furnish and install one (1) complete diesel aboveground storage tank (AST) dispensing system outdoors (for Class II combustible liquids). D. Furnish and install one (1) complete used oil AST non-dispensing system indoors (for Class IIIB combustible liquids). E. Restore disturbed areas to their original condition. F. Furnish and install one (1) Veeder-Root TLS- 450PLUS ATG console to existing electrical feed and tank sensors (i.e., AST systems).
