Site work and paving for a civil project in Brandon, South Dakota. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
Brandon Core Area Reconstruction Phase 2B. The Project includes the following Work: street and utility reconstruction of approximately 8 residential blocks or approximately 3,500 LF. Each bid shall be accompanied by a Bid Security payable to the Owner for five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid as a certified or bank check issued by a State or National bank or for ten percent (10%) as a bid bond. With submission of a bid, the Bidder acknowledges he has visited the site and become familiar with the conditions under which the work is to be performed. The bid guarantee will be retained by the OWNER as liquidated damages if the successful bidder refuses or fails to enter into an Agreement within fourteen (14) days after Notice of Award or fails at time of executing the contract to furnish a construction performance bond and construction payment bond guaranteeing the faithful performance of the work. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive technicalities, and make award(s) as deemed to be in the best interest of the Owner. All bids shall remain subject to acceptance for thirty days beyond the date of bid opening. Bids may not be withdrawn after the time fixed for opening them. The OWNER reserves the right to reject any and all bids, and to waive any irregularities therein.
