As of March 26, 2024, bids are being rejected. No plan for rebid. The scope of work includes concrete sidewalk removal and replacement with clay paver band, removal of street trees to be replaced by planter boxes and installation of electrical receptacles, curb and gutter installation, concrete entrance apron replacement, and parking striping and signage. The project also includes the replacement of existing sanitary sewers below the proposed sidewalk. The Instructions to Bidders, Bid Form, Agreement Forms, Performance and Payment Bonds. Bidders and DBE subcontractors must be prequalified with the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) and possess a Certificate of Eligibility at the time of the bid opening. All subcontractors must be prequalified in the work functions they will perform when accepting subcontracts. The general contractor must be prequalified by the Kentucky Department of Transportation in "Sidewalk" (I12). "Sidewalk" is incidental to the pre qualifications for "Grade and Drain" (A), "Portland Cement Concrete Paving" (B), and "Bridges" (E). A DBE goal of two percent (2%) has been established for this Contract. The Owners reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all bids. No Bidder may withdraw his Bid within ninety (90) consecutive calendar days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
