Site work for a civil project in Slave Lake, Alberta. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
This Request for Prequalification (“RFPQ”) is an invitation by the Municipal District of Lesser Slave River (“the Municipality”) to prospective respondents to qualify in accordance with Evaluation of Responses (Part 2) for eligibility to provide Smith Road Crossing Construction as further described in Section A of the RFPQ Particulars (Appendix B) (the “Deliverables”). The successful respondents will be invited to bid on the Smith road project. This specification is expected to be ready in January to February of 2024. The actual work will start in the spring of 2024, although stream crossings can not be done until July 1 of 2024 due to environmental restrictions. Construction of approximately 1.8 km of road including 2 culvert crossings. Environment Construction Operations Plan First calls and coordination with utilities Site safety plan Excavation, and material moving. Demolition and removal of existing steel culverts Installation of new 800 mm and 2400 mm steel culvert crossings Backfill to new grade Drainage Compaction Topsoil placement Grass planting Erosion control Traffic control and temporary passage Question Deadline 01/12/2024 at 4:00 PM MT
