Bids received after the designated time shall be deemed unresponsive and shall not be opened. The proposed work includes the furnishing of all labor, materials and equipment necessary to complete the work on and/or related to the Township's storm sewer utilities and roadways which may include general utility repair to the stormwater collection system and local roadways, on an Emergency, On-Call and scheduled basis. The work is located within the Township of Plumsted and includes roadway and drainage repair work. The Township intends to create a pool of up to 3 contractors for A) Emergency Call-Out, B) Critical Call- Out and C) Scheduled Work. The successful bidder(s) will be expected to respond to all callouts, twenty-four (24) hours a day, seven (7) days a week as needed on a rotating basis. The successful bidders will be expected to respond and mobilize to all A) Emergency Call-outs within two (2) hours of being notified. Successful bidders will be expected to respond and mobilize to all B) Critical Call-outs within three (3) calendar days of being notified. Successful bidders will also be expected to coordinate all C) Scheduled Work orders and complete repairs within twenty (20) calendar days of notification, unless otherwise agreed upon with the Township. Services under this contract will be provided for a period of two (2) years from the execution of the contract. The Township of Plumsted reserves the right to (i) reject all bids pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:11-13.2 and (ii) to waive minor informalities and/or non-material exceptions in any bid should it be in the interest of the Township of Plumsted to do so.
