The Authority intends to enter into a contract for the Scope of Service The term of the contract shall be three (3) years with two (2) one (1) year renewal options to extend, at the Authoritys sole discretion. The Authority reserves its rights with regard to earlier termination of the contract in accordance with the terms therein. Current Location(s) for this bid: South Cargo Buildings - East Boston, MA Green Bus Depot Building 53 - East Boston, MA State Police Building 11 and K-9 Unit Building 7 - East Boston, MA No Proposal may be withdrawn after the submission deadline. The Authority reserves the right to add or remove locations at its sole discretion during the term of the resulting Agreements. The Contractor will provide the following: one (1) full time Maintenance Supervisor and two (2) Maintenance Technicians, forty (40) hours per week for the maintenance of the South Cargo Buildings 56, 57, 58, 62, 63 and the Green Bus Depot Building 53 as well as the maintenance of the State Police Building 11 and K-9 Unit Building 7. JANUARY 10, 2024 The Authority reserves the right to accept or to reject any or all Proposals, to withdraw this Request for Proposals at any time, to extend the date for receipt of Proposals, to amend the Request for Proposals prior to the deadline for receipt of Proposals, to initiate negotiations with one or more Proposers, to modify or amend with the consent of the Proposer any Proposal prior to acceptance, to waive any informality and to effect any agreement otherwise, all as the Authority in its sole judgment may deem to be in its best interest. The Authority reserves the right to short list Proposers, invite Proposers for an interview/demonstration either by phone, video, or in person and/or to request best and final offers. The Authority is not required to select the lowest cost Proposal, but rather, the Proposal deemed to be in the best interest of the Authority. To the extent that this RFP is subject to statutory bidding requirements as stated elsewhere in the RFP, such statutory bidding requirements shall supersede any conflicting provisions herein. The Authority will not award the Agreement to any Proposer who is not capable, in the Authoritys judgment, of satisfactorily and responsibly performing the work required under this Request for Proposals. No costs of responding to this Request for Proposals, any addenda or other documents or attendance at meetings in connection with this Request for Proposals shall be reimbursed by the Authority.
