Site work and paving for a road / highway in Wichita, Kansas. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
For constructing Street Improvements to serve Casa Bella 2nd Addition. A Bid Bond in the Amount of Five Percent (5%) Of the Total Bid or an Annual Bid Bond is Required Prior to Bid Opening. Any questions prior to bid submittal should be directed to Matthew Schultze, P.E., Subdivision Engineer, at (316) 268-4235 or mschultze@wichita.gov. Start Date. The work order on this project shall be issued 30 (thirty) calendar days after the date on which the contract for this project has been awarded to the successful bidder. Completion Date. The work on this project shall be completed within 50 (fifty) working days from the date of beginning work for all projects and in accordance with the plans and Standard Specifications. Pre-Qualified Contractors List For state/federal aid projects, the prime contractor must be on the Kansas Department of Transportation s pre-qualified contractors list. A bid submitted by a contractor not on the list will be considered nonresponsive and rejected. The City, through its Purchasing Manager reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals and any part of parts of any proposal, and to waive formalities therein to determine which is the most beneficial proposal.
