The Federal Bureau of Prisons (FBOP), Federal Correctional Institution Manchester located at 805 Fox Hollow Road in Manchester, Kentucky intends to make a single award to a responsible entity that will provide all necessary equipment, labor, materials, and incidentals to complete Preventative Maintenance and Inspection to Electrical Gear. The contractor is responsible for preventative maintenance, testing, and inspection of existing medium and low voltage electrical gear.Breakers- Secondary injection where applicable, manually operate breakers 5 times each, contact resistance, check all connections, visual, clean switchgear enclosures. Transformers- Insulation resistance, Winding resistance, Turns test ratio, visual and clean enclosure. KV Switches- Contact resistance, insulation resistance, clean and lube, verify good blade penetration, check electrical grounding, inspect arc chutes, clean enclosure. SITE VISIT SCHEDULED: 1/9/24 9:00 A.M.
