The Village of Penn Yan, Yates County, New York, will be accepting statements of qualifications for Engineering Consulting Services on the Village's Cherry Street Pump Station Force Main Project. The Village of Penn Yan is looking to undertake a sewer project to install a secondary force main at their Cherry Street Pump Station. The Village engaged Hunt Engineers to prepare an engineering report titled "WWTP Improvements, Village of Penn Yan, Yates County, New York, SPDES No. NY0039726". Within the report, Hunt recommends the Village install a secondary force main between the pump station and the Village's wastewater treatment facility to provide redundancy. The Village is seeking an engineering firm to complete the design for the secondary force main, as well as administer and closeout the project. The Village is anticipating utilizing various funding agencies to finance this project, and the selected engineering firm will be responsible to comply with all the various funding agency requirements. Utilizing a qualifications-based process, the Village will select a consulting engineering firm licensed in the State of New York to design, bid, administer and close-out this project as the need arises. The selection of the consultant will be valid for a period of three (3) years from the date of Village Board approval and the Village reserves the right to renew the selected consultant contract for an additional three (3) years. Experience - Experience and technical expertise of the firm and its personnel as well as information regarding projects previously undertaken, including the types and cost of projects.
