Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Cartersville, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and road / highway.

The Work consists of furnishing all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and supplies necessary for construction of approximately 7,600 linear ft. of 12-inch DIP water main, 1,250 linear ft. of 8-inch DIP water main, 50 linear ft. of 20- inch steel casing (bored), 50 gate valves (6in., 8-in. and 12-in.), 19 fire hydrant assemblies, 67 water service replacements, all with related clearing, stake-out, traffic regulation, erosion and sedimentation control, hydrostatic testing, restoration of grassing, landscaping, signage, street & driveway paving, curb & gutters, sidewalks, and all other incidentals required for complete and functional water facilities. The relocation work must be done in coordination with roadway, drainage, and sidewalk improvements to be constructed under GDOT P. I. No. 0016628 administered by the Cartersville Public Works Department. The Project will be funded by local funds. Payment for the Work will be made periodically on the basis of Contractor's Applications-for-Payment processed by the Engineer. The right is reserved by the Owner to delay the award of the Contract for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days from the bid opening date, during which time the bids shall remain open and not subject to withdrawal. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any and all technicalities or informalities. If an award is made, the award will be made to the responsive and responsible Bidder having the lowest Total Bid. Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Bond, or other security authorized by law, in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total base bid. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, each in the amount of 100% of the Contract Price.
