The existing tower including all interior architectural finishes, mechanical and electrical systems will be removed and new systems will be installed. The facility was built in 1970s and Tower C consists of primarily office space. The tower consists of 7 levels plus penthouse. EllisDon Corporation, acting as the Construction Manager on behalf of BGIS, is inviting Bidders to submit their Statement of Qualifications to pre-qualify to bid on the Lester B. Pearson Rehabilitation - Tower C Project. The project is located at 125 Sussex Drive, Ottawa, ON. This pre-qualification process is the first phase of a two-phase procurement process; the second phase is the tendering process. During the Tendering Phase, the pre-qualified bidders will be invited to prepare and to submit stipulated price tenders for this work. The successful bidder will be required to enter into a contract with the Construction Manager based on a modified EllisDon Stipulated Price Subcontract. During the course of construction of this project, there will be several other projects on-going. Work of this project must be coordinated accordingly between these concurrent projects, while maintaining the required separation of time and space so that the responsibilities associated with "Constructor" remain with the Construction Manager. The remainder of the facility will be occupied during this work and existing systems will need to be maintained and tied into to ensure operation of the facility. The overall work may be tendered in a number of different packages *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. Based on the available design information, the preliminary estimated cost for this scope of work is valued at CAD$1,000,000 to $2,000,000 It is agreed and understood by each bidder that the Construction Manager and BGIS reserve the right to reject any or all SOQs, waive informalities or to accept any proposal which is deemed desirable. Of particular importance to the Client and the Construction Manager will be a bidder's reputation for quality workmanship and proven ability to perform work on schedule Official bid documents must be obtained from www.merx.com
