Reference Number 0000261714 The scope of the overall project includes a full coordination and rehabilitation of an existing office tower. The existing tower including all interior architectural finishes, mechanical and electrical systems will be removed and new systems will be installed. The facility was built in 1970s and Tower C consists of primarily office space. The tower consists of 7 levels plus penthouse. Expectation for this Design Assist partner is to work in parallel with the design consultants and other Design Assist subcontractors to evaluate design, constructability, schedule, and cost while preparing coordinated fabrication drawings to implement. Phase One - this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) will be posted on MERX Public to prequalify Respondents with the necessary experience to function as a PRIME MECHANICAL DESIGN-ASSIST & FIT-UP SUBCONTRACTOR for the 125 Sussex Drive Tower C Rehabilitation project. The RFQ is open to all interested Prime Mechanical Subcontractors. The prequalification of a Respondent will be based on the rated evaluation criteria specified in this document. Interested proponents must demonstrate their qualifications, abilities, experience, financial capacity, and personnel capacity to address the project requirements set out in this RFQ. The successful Respondents will be invited to submit a Proposal in Phase Two. If required, between Phase One and Phase Two, shortlisted prequalified Respondents may be requested to attend a topic specific commercially confidential meeting to capture relevant input from industry prior to the Phase Two process. Should there be an insufficient number of prequalified Respondents after Phase One to permit a competition in Phase Two, the CM reserves the right to cancel Phase Two or to modify the Phase One requirements and re-publish the solicitation using the same or a different approach. Phase Two - Request for Proposal (RFP) will be sent to the successful respondents of Phase One. The selection of a PRIME MECHANICAL DESIGN-ASSIST & FIT-UP subcontractor will be based on a best value approach using a combined rating of technical merit and price.
