The scope of work under this project includes the removal of the existing chain link gate and a portion of the chain link barbed wire fence and installing a chain link automatic sliding gate complete with all posts, braces, motor, metal track, 15x25 concrete apron with loops, keypad and all other appurtenances. The work will also include approximately 740 feet of trenching for electrical conduit/wiring from the wastewater treatment plant electrical room to the newly installed automatic gate. As set forth in the contract agreement, the Contractor shall begin work on the date as per NOTICE TO PROCEED and shall diligently prosecute the same to completion by THIRTY (30) working days after the date in said notice. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informalities related thereto. Anticipated Contractor Selection Date:April 23, 2024 The Contractor shall complete all Work under the Contract within Thirty (30) Working Days from the Notice to Proceed. SCOPE OF WORK. The Project includes, without limitation, furnishing all necessary labor, materials, equipment and other incidental and appurtenant Work necessary to satisfactorily complete the Project, as more specifically described in the Contract Documents. This Work will be performed in strict conformance with the Contract Documents, permits from regulatory agencies with jurisdiction, and applicable regulations. The quantity of Work to be performed and materials to be furnished are approximations only, being given as a basis for the comparison of Bids.
