This project is included in the Manatee County's fiscal years 2024-2028 Capital Improvement Plan (CIP). As of January 2, 2024, further details regarding design and construction have not been identified. A firm timeline for construction has not been established; however, funding for construction is allotted to fiscal year 2024-2025. A detailed scope has not yet been released. Design and construct up to four additional soccer fields depending on site conditions, including synthetic turf system to stabilize the fields. A synthetic turf system including the enhanced base material provides cost-effective solutions for fields of any size and purpose. This project also includes solar lighting for paths and walkways, LED sports lighting for the new soccer fields; paved parking lot; parking lot lighting; expanded access road to accommodate access needs with overflow grass parking along the drive; restroom building; maintenance/storage building or shed; site utility improvements including potable water supply, sanitary sewer/stormwater conveyance and site electrical improvements; installation of proper drainage, installation of synthetic turf irrigation system, landscaping; bleachers and shade structures, site furnishings, and all appurtenances and amenities required for a functional facility *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP).
